Tringles à rideaux

Après les rideaux et les stores, biensûr, mon autre problème en arrivant ici, a été les tringles.

1. nous sommes dans une maison en location et pas question de faire trop de trous partout (il y en a déjà pas mal)
2. Nous n'avions pas de perceuse pour percer quoique ce soit de toutes les façons
3. Nous avons déjà toutes les tringles nécessaires en France et je n'avais pas envie d'en acheter d'autres ici (pour en faire quoi après?)

Ma solution? Ou plutôt mes solutions?
J'ai trouvé dans le garage de vieilles tringles à rideaux banales et très moches. Une fois nettoyées elles étaient ... toujours aussi moches mais propres. C'est déjà ça.
Avantage?

• Evidemment gratuit,
• On a pu les fixer dans les trous existants
• Une fois les rideaux accrochés, on ne les voit plus (trop).

Mais j'en avais juste assez pour les chambres du haut. Pour en bas, j'ai trouvé un lot de bambous (vraiment pas cher) et coup de bol de la bonne longueur (un peu ric-rac mais bon). J'ai juste eu à acheter des support en bois, et j'ai pu les fixer (en empruntant une perceuse) en ne faisant qu'un seul trou à chaque fois.
Avec des rideaux à oeillets, ça coulisse très bien, et j'ai même pu cacher les supports (que j'ai la flemme de peindre pour l'instant).
Et côté esthétique, le style bambou s'intègre totalement!

After the curtains and blinds, of course, my other problem on arriving here, were curtain poles.

1. We are in a rented house and there was no question of drilling holes everywhere (there are quite a lot alrdeady).
2. We didn't have any drill anyway
3. We already have all the curtain poles we need in France and I didn't want to buy any other here (what for?)

My solution? Or rather, my solutions?
I found some boring ugly old curtain poles in the garage. Once cleaned they were ... still ugly but clean at least. That's a start.
Advantage?

• Free of course,
• We were able to fix them using the existing holes
• Once the curtains are hung, you don't notice them that much (well, not too much).

But the trouble is I had just enough for the fisrt floor. For the ground floor, I found a bunch of bamboos (really cheap) and, lucky me, of the right length (just a tiny weeny bit too small, but hey ho). I just had to buy some wooden brackets, and I managed to fix them (borrowing a friend's drill) only drilling one hole for each.
With eyelet curtains, it slides very well, and I even managed to hide the brackets (which I lazily haven't painted yet).
On the style side, bamboos fit in and blend wonderfully.
