Tous ces gens que l'on croise sur la plage / all those people we see on the beach (1)
It was in Sveti Stefan, in Montenegro. Her hat caught my eye.
La grand-mère et son petit fils
The granny and her grand-son
But she kept moving all the time! That's why I had to start so many sketches and as soon as she was in the same position again, I added a few more lines...
I like the sketch in the bottom right hand corner; it's quite a difficult pose, but I think that in very few lines I managed to get it and the child she was holding too. I had to add the legs afterwards as I didn't have time to sketch them and I had to imagine more or less the way they must have been, and I was lucky, it works!
In the bottom left hand corner, on the contrary, I didn't have time to sketch the child, and as a result we wonder what she's doing! You can't always win! ;-)
