Bord de route 8 / Side of the road 8

(8"x10" - 20,3cm x 25,3 cm) elle était à l'ombre sous un arbre et attendait le taxi (mini bus collectif) avec sa famille. / She was standing in the shade, waiting for a taxi (mini van) with her family.

Bord de route 5 / Side of the road 5

(Acrylic on canvas 9"x 12" - Acrylique sur toile 22,7 cm x 30,5 cm) Trois vieilles dames assises au bord de la route vendant quelques légumes disposés par terre. Celle-ci était au milieu, visiblement la 'chef'! / Three old women were sitting on the side...

Bord de route 3 / Side of the road 3

(Acrylic on canvas 9"x 12" - Acrylique sur toile 22,7 cm x 30,5 cm) Près du Swaziland, cette jeune fille marchait sur le bas côté avec une copine, toutes deux tenaient un parapluie pour s'abriter du soleil. Elles dégageaient beaucoup de joie de vivre....

Bord de route 2 / Side of the road 2

(Acrylic on canvas 8"x10" - acrylique sur toile 20,3cm x 25,3 cm) J'ai vu cette femme marcher sur le bord de la route près de Kosi Bay, au nord est du pays, pas très loin de la frontière avec le Mozambique. Elle rentrait des courses en portant un sachet...

Artiste voyageuse, qui se promène entre acrylique et aquarelle, mais toujours prête à découvrir, goûter, expérimenter. Après 5 ans en Afrique du Sud qui ont teinté ses pinceaux d'une pointe de pigment pur, preque 3 ans à Rome, la voici maintenant de retour en France.

Cathy is an artist who loves travelling between acrylic and watercolour. She's always ready to discover and experiment. After living 5 years in South Africa, then spending nearly 3 years in Rome, Italy, she is now back in France.
