J'emmène tous les jours mon fils à l'arrêt de bus, puis je rentre en passant par le marché (mercato Nomentana), via Alessandria. J'y prends mon café et je fais deux, trois courses si nécessaire. Everyday I walk with my son to the bus stop, then I walk...

N°94 - 106 Epurer / Declutter (2)

Still focusing on decluttering, I tried the rectangle size; I think the first three look look better in a landscape format. Toujours dans l'idée d'épuration, j'ai essayé quelques composition en format rectangle; les 3 premiers fonctionnent mieux en format...

N°90 - 93 Epurer / Declutter (1)

En déco, comme en peinture, mon mot du moment c'est "épurer". Garder l'essentiel. Moins il y a de choses, et plus l'impact sera fort. Vous voyez ce que je veux dire? In decoration as well as in painting my favourite word of the moment is "declutter"....

N°82 Nouveau style?/ New style?

Vous savez que je suis un peu lassée des croquis "classiques" de mes carnets de voyage. Pourtant j'ai grand plaisir à croquer, observer, noter ces lignes, ces fenêtres, ces lieux. C'est le rendu qui me déçoit souvent. Trop terre à terre. Passer de l'abstraction...

Et encore un carnet de voyage de fini! Je l'ai commmencé le 16 avril 2017 et fini le 17 avril 2018. Même pas fait exprès! One more sketchbook finished! It was started on April 16th 2017 and was finished April, 17th 2018. And I didn't even do it on purpose!...

Artiste voyageuse, qui se promène entre acrylique et aquarelle, mais toujours prête à découvrir, goûter, expérimenter. Après 5 ans en Afrique du Sud qui ont teinté ses pinceaux d'une pointe de pigment pur, preque 3 ans à Rome, la voici maintenant de retour en France.

Cathy is an artist who loves travelling between acrylic and watercolour. She's always ready to discover and experiment. After living 5 years in South Africa, then spending nearly 3 years in Rome, Italy, she is now back in France.
